Marine Corp Ball

One of the most fun parts about being married to Corey is the fact that he is a handsome, tough, dedicated, patriotic, fun-loving Marine. The Marine Corp changed the trajectory of his life. God was faithful to lead Corey into the Marines and guide him into the career he has gone back to after a few years away. I love getting to see him interact with the marines at post and train and lead them well. The Marine Corp Ball is an event I very much look forward to, and I have to say this year was the best. On November 10, 2021 U.S. Marines around the globe celebrated their 246-year birthday. Corey was the oldest marine at the embassy this year which meant he got to stand with the ambassador for part of the ceremony. I am proud of him for serving our country and proud of the man he has become because of the marine corp. We have made some amazing friends here. Friends who love our kids and who we are excited to go on many adventures with.

I also wanted to include some extra clips of Nouakchott these days. Driving is a bit of a challenge, these pictures are a normal intersection. There are no real rules and lanes and it is total chaos, but somehow it works. We are still loving all of the sand (well really just Ella is loving it)
